The show announcement comes hot on the heels of the release their fourth album No Sound Without Silence. The Script have done especially well Stateside, where they have five Platinum singles and have sold over one million albums. Royal Blood became the fastest-selling rock debut in three years, selling nearly 66,000 copies in its first week according to the Official Charts Company. The tour will start in London on 20 March and continue through to Leeds, Glasgow and Manchester before finishing in Birmingham on 25 March. The WHO hits 50 ticketsThe WHO Hits 50!

2014 sees The Who, one of rock’s legendary and defining bands celebrate 50 Years of Maximum R+B. The Who Hits 50 UK tour will see the band take their audience on an ‘Amazing Journey’ through their entire career from the days of The High Numbers to classic albums such as Who’s Next, Tommy, Quadrophenia, My Generation and Live at Leeds. The show which Pete Townshend describes as ‘Hits, Picks, Mixes and Misses’ will see the band play all the classic anthems as well as tackling deeper cuts from their catalogue. Who Hits 50 will not only celebrate the fantastic contribution The Who have made to our musical heritage but also their remarkable contribution to youth culture old and new. Teenage Cancer Trust Royal Albert Hall TicketsTeenage Cancer Trust Gigs

Roger Daltrey has announced the line-up for this year’s Teenage Cancer Trust shows at the Royal Albert Hall. The Who frontman will perform with his band, along with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Van Morrison, Paul Weller, Stereophonics and Kevin Bridges. Future Islands and Johnny Marr also feature on the bill, along with Wilko Johnson who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2012. The gigs will run from 23 to 28 March in London, with Daltrey the driving force behind the fundraiser as a patron of the Teenage Cancer Trust. The 2015 event will mark the 15th anniversary of the inaugural concert in 2000, when The Who and Friends saw Gallagher, Weller and Kelly Jones join the veteran rockers for a one-off performance. The tour kicks off in Dublin on the 25th February, and ends in London at Hammersmith’s Eventim Apollo on March 24th, taking in cities the band haven’t played for many years. This extensive UK tour is something the band have been wanting to do for a long time, marking the start of an exciting series of events and releases planned ahead of the bands 20th Anniversary celebrations in 2016.
