New Tickets in This Week: July 2014
The Libertines, Alexandra Palace Saturday 27th September 2014
The Libertines are back for a set of shows at London’s Alexandra Palace! They’ve just staged a huge performance at the 2014 Barclaycard British Summer Time. The shows are set to take place on 27th and 28th September 2014. The Libertines are regarded as one of the most famous (and infamous) British bands in recent years. With their Dickensian vibe and dreamy idealistic values, they’re a force to be reckoned with on the indie scene, influencing countless bands that followed them. Don’t miss out on your chance to see the legendary Libertines when they’re next live in concert; snap up some Libertines tickets today!
Linkin Park at The O2, London on Sunday 23rd November 2014
To support their sixth studio album The Hunting Party, Linkin Park are performing at London’s O2 Arena on November 23rd 2014. Multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Mike Shinoda, suggested that the band had already put together some of the music for the album when he came across a blog post ‘Rock Sucks Right Now and its Really Depressing.’ Mike went on to explain that after reading this piece, the music quickly took a turn to become a response to this piece of writing. A return to the sounds that launched their careers? We’ll have to wait and see! Book your tickets for Linkin Park on the Global tickets site.
Basement Jaxx at The O2 Arena, London on Thursday 11th December 2014
Basement Jaxx have announced that they will perform at The O2 on Thursday 11 December 2014, just days after announcing their new single Never Say Never. Their seventh studio album ‘Junto’, means ‘together’ in Spanish, which ties in nicely with their unifying theme. Never Say Never, their first single from the album, is a feel good anthem and set to make them stand out from the crowd in the house charts again this year. Grab your tickets to see Basement Jaxx perform live in December.
Hopefully there won’t be just 5 seconds of Summer this year, but there definitely will be next year! (Sorry!) The band goes on tour next Summer in May and June and will take in 8 UK cities. The Australian rock/punk/boy band formed in 2011 and have seen their success soar over the past couple of years; they’ve supported One Direction and their tour earlier this year sold out in minutes. The Rock Out With Your Socks UK tour is just one part of their European tour next summer. Don’t miss out, grab your tickets now (when they’re gone, they’re gone!)
